Guys on the fly I whipped up this incredible play on pizza & a salad for our family game night and it was absolutely out of this world!!! The opening image is a picture I shot then added an oil painting filter to make it look like the masterpiece it is…totally delicious! Lol
Quality ingrediants made all the difference in the world and the flavor was so bold & fresh! The pizza was made with hand tossed thick crust I picked up from the bakery then smeared with really tasty Italian pizza sauce, Gouda and Fontina shredded cheeses, large imported pepperoni and pancetta, jalapenos and sliced black olives. It was baked to perfection in the oven then I basted the crust in garlic oil! It was amazing I tell ya!
Next I created this divine Pizza Italiano Salad which features all the flavors of the pizza in a fresh twist! I started with a bed of greens…spring mix, arugula & baby spinach leaves, flavorful diced heirloom tomatoes, diced pickled jalepenos, sliced black olives, chopped pepperoni, garlic & herb croutons, sea salt & freshly cracked black pepper then drizzled with a mixture of zesty Italian vinegarette & buttermilk ranch and at the end I threw in some Italian cheeses!
You just have to make this for your next weekend game night! Restaurant quality deliciousness right at home!

Ultimate Supreme Pizza
Serves 6 slices
- Hand tossed Pizza Crust
- 1/3 cup quality pizza sauce or marinara
- 1/2 cup Gouda, freshly shredded
- 1/2 cup Fontina, freshly shredded
- Quality Pepperoni
- Italian chopped Pancetta
- 1 to 2 tablespoons pickled jalapenos
- 1 to 2 cups pitted and sliced black olives
- garlic oil for garnish
- dried herbs for garnish
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
On a floured surface roll out your pizza crust and crimp your edges for the crust.
Smear on your pizza sauce and cover in cheeses then top with pepperoni, pancetta, pickled jalepenos and olives and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and cheeses melted. Then immediately smear crust in garlic oil or garlic butter and sprinkle pizza with dried Italian herbs. Cut into serving size slices.
Pizza Italiano Salad
- 5 cups of a mixture spring mix, arugula and baby spinach leaves
- 1 1/2 cups diced heirloom tomatoes
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapenos, rough chopped
- 1/4 cup pitted and sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup Italian cheese blend, shredded
- 1 cup garlic croutons
- Pinch of kosher salt
- Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup mixture of Zesty Italian vingrette mixed with Ranch dressing
Assemble salad and keep refrigerated until ready to eat then just before serving top with cheese, croutons and dressing.
